As suspected, the water damage at the old rear entry door is a lot more extensive than suspected. There is actually quite a bit of damage to the underlying framing structure and we will have to do quite a bit of repair work in this area. This water damage was caused by a combination of a negative drainage plane at the rear entry and the lack of any kind of flashing at the perimeter walls. We will demo the remaining subfloor and repair any damage found in the floor framing.
